Upgrade 1650 super

Is it worth to ugprade my gtx 1650 super or should I wait a few more years, if yes what should I get instead? I usually play competitive and story games on 1920x1080. My screen is the msi optix g241 23"

If you have the money and want some better graphics and framerate, absolutely.

A Radeon RX 7600 XT would be a great upgrade for example.

RX 6700/7700 XT, RX 7600/XT, Arc B580, even an RTX 3060 12GB that you can still find in local Best Buy stores sometimes. They're all in the $300-$400 price range which is where you want to be.

 

You can also find a second hand GTX 1080/1080ti for pretty cheap which would be a solid option for 1080p in 2025.

I'd wait, unless you're having issues.  Is the performance of your 1650 Super bothering you?

Unfortunately, that price range is where none of those cards were a bit ago or should be.

 

If he can get a 1080TI for $125 or less, I'd get that.

I wanted to play black myth wukong and mh wilds but the performance isn't playable (10-30 fps on low), but on other games it's not that bad at all,  so I thought it's maybe time for an upgrade.

Oh then yeah upgrade.

 

It's just a shitty time to do so, prices are jacked up all over and stock is very low.
