so i have a brand new setup and this is my first time booting and i get boot failure detected load optimized default's then boot load optimized defaults then reboot or enter bios then it says the system has experienced a boot failure possibly due to incorrect configuration previous settings in bios may not be compatible with current hardware and any time i try to click or move my selection and select one of the options nothing happens does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it

Resetting the CMOS won't brick your board. As long as you're not in the middle of updating the bios and the system crashes or shuts off it should be just fine. That bios setting failure error you are getting is basically telling you to reset the bios to default settings either via the settings within bios "Load optimized defaults" or by doing a CMOS reset by simply removing the battery while the system isn't connected to wall power.

 

If you don't want to or aren't comfortable troubleshooting and trying things on the system that are recommended for troubleshooting or fixing it, you're going to need to take it to someone who is, which means(in most cases) paying them to do that.
