The stutters in question are only affecting my 1% lows in many games, for example in cyberpunk with ultra RT preset at 1440p i get 90 fps and my 1% lows are at 60 and every few minutes some times seconds they drop from 60 to 25-35 causing a noticeable micro stutter and this happens even with my fps capped or with low settings. On cs2 i get 300+ fps and my 1% lows are at 200 and suddenly they drop to 60 once or twice per deathmatch, this applies to warzone, bo6, and rust.

For some reason its always my 1% lows that are dropping and they always drop to 30 in almost every game except cs2 where they drop to 60. Also everytime a stutter happens my cpu busy time spikes from 11ms to 110ms.

I have done basically everything that i know like simple fixes such as power plans to bios settings, uninstalling software, using different peripherals and such. I even tried unplugging my rgb controller since some people had issues with it.

my components dont overheat either, my cpu usually sits at 70-75 degrees in demanding titles and the hottest it got was like 85 for a second, and my gpu almost never goes past 70.

i have swapped every component from my NZXT prebuilt and the stutters are still there. Yesterday i got a new motherboard which was the las piece left to replace and it did not fix it, i also have reinstalled windows a bunch of times with and without my usual software.

i had an electrician check the power on the house and also tried using an ups and voltage regulator, i have tried 2 monitors and nothing changed. Have in mind that i have had the stutters ever since i got my prebuilt and after every hardware upgrade the issue was the same every time.

at this point i have no clue what the issue is and i ran out of ideas since its not a software, house power, or hardware problem and today i confirmed that the drivers are not the cause because i tried using only the ones provided by windows and not downloading the motherboard ones.

if anyone has an idea of a possible fix id love to try it out, ill leave a list of my old components and my new ones:

your power supply could me going bad

I thought of that but the issue has been the same even after getting a new since the prebuilt came with a 750w msi mag psu and i got the same model but with 850w for the new gpu and the issue remained the same.

did you happen to have the Nvidia drivers from the 4060 ti still downloaded

Thanks fot the reply but its not possible, after every driver update i always do a clean install and when i got the new gpu i just reinstalled windows to be sure.

My only clue of the problem is that somehow i got 2 faulty psu whith exactly the same issue but it just seems really unlikely

if you still have the 4060 ti try using that and see if you have the same issue

i just did and the results are the same, the stutters keep happening. My gpu clock speed was dropping a bit from 2770 to 2770-2715 and it was kinda syncronized with the fps drops but i cant say for sure. At this point i think maybe a motherboard screw could be making contact with the case causing a shortage or something but im not sure.

Edit: i just noticed that the power of the gpu is stuck at 160 since thats the limit of consumption but the voltages are fluctuating a lot and i think when the voltage drops a bit so does my 1% lows, the voltage was 1.070-1.080 v and sometimes it dropped to 1.030 kinda before the stutter happened but im not sure tbh, and since the voltage in the 4080 super almost never fluctuates in comparison to the 4060 ti is hard to say.

you can try using different pcie slots on your motherboard

Just did and same result. Could it be something with the case? Ive seen a youtuber had issues with booting a build because of a screw causing a shortage and since i have replaced the whole pc, reseted the bios, clean installed windows even using only the windows drivers and not the motheboard ones is hard to say what the cause could even be.

Well i tried unscrewing the motherboard and it didnt work, i tried deleting the nvidia cache and didnt work, i also tried using the pc without the case cables plugged like the usb 3.2, usb c, and pwr cable but no succes. Im at loss

Edit: using layencymon it says that theres and issue with the power settings, maybe this is the fix?
