Recently my games have started crashing for seemingly no reason on my one year old computer. Some games are now unplayable and some crashes less frequently but it’s still much much more than once in a while a year ago.

I think, and please tell me if I’m wrong that it might be my own stupidity that has caused this since I didn’t know how high or low cpu temps should be and I think that the crashes may be caused by the degradation of the cpu because of the long excessive heat exposure. I’m not sure if that’s the he cause but I’m still gonna upgrade my cpu cooler but if I’m right, do I need to buy a new cpu?

I updated bios a couple of months ago when the problem started showing up to no avail.

Windows 10 64.
