Performance Struggling?

Specs (Very Broad)

I have a pretty beefy pc in my personal opinion, where I run a i9 12900k, radeon 7800 xt, 32 gb of ram for basic specs

Problem
I was wondering how to deal with my pc not running league of legends well? I usually run it at 1440p high settings, but recently it has been struggling on me super hard. I've dropped all my settings to medium settings, but I noticed that I would experience lag still and decided to use an fps counter. I was going from 240 then dropping to like 80 frames, and I'm not sure why this has suddenly occurred. For GPU utilization it says that 20% was being used, and the temps were averaging 45 degrees (celsius). For clarification, this problem has started happening to me in the past week.

After googling, seems like the new jan drivers might be causing crashes. Maybe try rolling back your drivers by a version.

The latest driver was released roughly 3 months ago and the issue that's happening to me right now is sudden. There was no prior problem until about a week ago, in which I noticed my frame rate would drop and I would feel the difference.

Don't forget there are Windows updates that took place since. GPU drivers seems to be made of two parts (one Windows and one GPU maker). Maybe rolling back a Windows update could help you.

But before doing that, make sure you back up any important data on your computer.

Do try to check your graphics drivers due to windows update as mentioned above.
