Weird Thunderbolt Cable from Amazon

Hello,

 

Big LTT fan but first time posting to the forum.  I have a received the weirdest wrong delivery that I felt like I had to share. I ordered a 6ft Thunderbolt 4 cable from Cable Matters on Amazon. That is not what I received. The packaging was "Cable Matters" brand packaging and confirmed that inside should be a 6ft Thunderbolt 4 cable. But, inside was a 3ft cable.  This isn't too odd and could be explained with a simple miss-fill. But, the cable is not the 3ft version of the cable I ordered. It has non of the branding of "Cable Maters" that is on the amazon listing. It only has Thunderbolt. It is also a seemingly high quality braided cable which made me even more confused. I looked closer and on the shield and it says Apple! I am not sure how this happened. I am not sure this is even a real Apple cable. I am definitely not plugging it into my computer. I will be returning it. Just thought someone might find this weird or funny. 

 

I am still looking for a cable. I have a VR headset that I play multiplayer games on which sometimes crashes when I stream to it wirelessly. So I wanted to buy a cable to connect it to my computer. Both support Thunderbolt 4. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

o_O that looks like the Thunderbolt cable that comes with the Apple Studio Display. I'm not home right now to confirm.

someone might have returned the wrong cable, either accidentally or on purpose.

Albeit they were dumb and sent back the *expensive* cable if that's Apple.

That looks Apple. Little 'pokeball' on it tells me so. Quit buying electronics on amazon lol
