Upgrades and bottleneck

Ive previously posted that I currently run a 3070, i9 9900k, and 32gb of ram and I struggle to push 150-200fps on valorant, 30fps tarkov etc. I'm looking to upgrade but I'm not sure what to upgrade to to get better fps and less bottlenecking. especially on tarkov.

When you're running games, are you CPU limited or GPU Limited?

That will tell you what needs to be upgraded.

with tarkov being a cpu heavy game it uses around 70% maybe? gpu not as much, which is why im thinking it could also be my ram speeds. with valorant it doesnt seem to use very much of either. Havent really looked too in depth while playing though so I could be wrong.

 

I just didnt know if someone mightve spotted anything in my screenshots, something standing out

you can't look at overall util on a CPU in game.

 

You have to look per-thread.  If one or two threads are capped?  that's what's limiting you, even if your CPU isn't at 100%
