Display not working

My pc was working fine last night but now when I turn it on it says wrong display port option . I’ve tried changing it but still the same . I’ve also reset my cmos before when I had the same issue and it fixed it . Any ideas how to fix it for the long term ?

If a CMOS reset did the trick, maybe the button cell is too weak and needs to be replaced.

Otherwise, it may be some automatic updates that changed your DP settings. It is really hard to pinpoint the reason on such a rare glitch.
