Hi sometime when Windows does an Update or I just want to start my PC it wont boot up again or shut down.

I got the Error Code 0D on my Mainboard and I know it is something with the ram sticks. I allreday put them into other slots and tested them individually but it seems like nothing helps.

Sometimes it happends more then just once a week and sometimes a long time nothing. So I don't know what else I should do.

The ram sticks I use should work just fine with my mainboard.

  • G.Skill F5-6000J3040G32GX2-RS5W

Or is there any option in the BIOS I can change and take a look if it works?

I'd recommend running memtest86 on the system first if you haven't already, you'll need a USB stick to boot this from. Run a test, try and leave it long enough to at least run through all the tests once. I think the default is 10 runs but 1 should be enough. If you start getting errors you can stop the test early if you don't want to wait for it to finish. Errors indicate that there is a fault with the ram. If it passes then the issue is probably somewhere else.

If you do get errors, you can try to remove the RAM and clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol and seat them back and run the test again, if it still fails then you can try disabling XMP and run the ram at base speed. If it still fails after that then the ram is probably faulty and you need to RMA it.

Edit: I'd also recommend reading through this thread on the asus forums looks like a fairly similar issue. There are some replies that indicate that the problem might be the memory overclock (AMD EXPO) and 0D is memory training code, hence removing or turning down the overclock might fix the issue.
