TrackIr 5 Canada

I play a lot of Arma and have decided to get myself a trackir. I was all ready to make my purchase on naturalpoint's website until I got to the shipping method and these were my choices: 

 

60$ for shipping a what 2 pound product?!?! Why air mail anyways... I have tried extreme gaming devices website (Canadian approved dealer or whatever) but they are charging almost  200$ for the trackir + pro clip and you have to phone to inquire about it or whatever... Anyone who has one of these that lives in canada / out of states did you pay so much for shipping? Is there a better location to buy? I want one of these buy I can't bring myself to pay over 25% to shipping costs on such a small product.

Well, considering you're in Canada and NaturalPoint is an American company HQ'ed in Oregon.. Would you prefer they put it on a boat, and charge you triple?

 

Sorry to be blunt. In that kind of mood. Nonetheless; yes, this is normal. Considering NP is pretty much the best TrackIR solution - It's either this or nothing for you, I guess.

 

Just pretend it's part of the cost of the item. That's how I get over my "shipping too damn expensive" feelings.

Does anyone have any experience with theses companies? Would there be any advantage from buying directly from NP?
