Thinking about upgrading

Hello LTT forums, new here I currently have a Pc with the following specs

• Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

• CPU: Intel Core i5 10400 @ 2.90GHz (Comet Lake)

• RAM: 32GB DDR4 @ 1330MHz 

• Motherboard: ASRock H470M-HDV/M.2 

 

• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12GB, MSI)

 

PSU: 650W


I'm considering upgrading to a ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS with a i5-14600K

 

Any suggestions or good upgrade?

You want to just game?

Get a b650 mobo with a ryzen 7000 series CPU

Why? i7 and i9 of the 13th and 14th gen have known issues and unless you want to get into game making, 3d modeling and any productivity intel is overpriced

Its not only gonna be cheaper but you can most likely re use that PSU since smt like a 7600 doesnt draw much and way less than an i7 14600k
