No post

I ordered a 4070 Super from ZOTAC sold and shipped by Amazon and installed it and I didn’t get a post. I spent probably 45 minutes trying to get a post and when I did I got a stkernal.exe error. 
 

It reset multiple times jumping towards Windows Recovery and eventually booted to desktop and worked fine - in the meantime I made a new Window Install USB but then the PC froze and now I no longer get a post… again. I didn’t mess with CPU or RAM. All I did was remove the 3060 and install the 4070 Super

 

I tried with my old 3060 and still nothing. I have jumped the CMOS multiple times on each occasion and still nothing post.

 

I’m out of options and have no idea what to do. I don’t think it’s the card. I double checked the PSU by removing it and redoing it ( it was bought 3 weeks ago from BestBuy) and it was fine until today. It’s the RM850x from Corsair

 

I need desperate help!

That board has 2 x16 slots, try the bottom slot. If the troubles follow multiple cards, then its likely the motherboard and not the GPU. The Bottom slot may only be electrically wired for x4, but should still give you an output and post if its working.

I think I must have unseated the RAM somehow while doing the GPU - I unseated and reseated the RAM and now it boots every time with no issues and no freezes
