So when my headphones (Audio Technica ATH-M50) are plugged into the back of my Gigabyte Z87X UD4H, I get a buzzing sound, weather listening to music or playing a game.  However when I plug them into my front panel on my NZXT H440, the buzzing sound goes away and is even a little louder. Is this a driver issue, or do I have a bad motherboard?

I have a similar issue with my laptop (made by gigabyte) and my M50s. Take a look (skip to 8:40):

Does it work better if you don't plug it in all the way?

Have you tried reinstalling the same or different drivers? If yes, and the problem persists, it's probably something wrong with the mobo.

The front panel port, however is likely louder because it has a headphone amp feeding it.

So I downloaded the lastest audio drivers off of Gigabytes website, didn't really help. So i guess that leaves me with a bad mother board? Anything else I can do to rule the motherboard out, because I can't think of anything.

Also, pulling the jack out a little bit didn't help.
