Pc not displaying

Finished a new build. 
Ryzen 9 7900x 

XFX 7800xt 

32g ddr5 Corsair vengeance 

B650 tomahawk 

RM850e Corsair psu

 

Wont display. Put another graphics card and it displayed. Need some help or suggestions. Cards fans turn on and lights do too.

Does the iGPU work (plugged into the motherboard) ?

And which other card you used ?

I haven’t tried the iGPU. And the other card is a 2070 super

Being an older card, the 2070 may be more permissive with the PCIe bus speed.

In the BIOS, can you change the PCIe speed to  Gen4 or Gen3 ?

Also, be sure to fully update Windows before installing AMD drivers for your 7800xt

I changed it to gen4. Still didn’t work.

I forgot to ask. Did you reinstall Windows since you upgraded your GPU ?

I know it is a hassle but I recommend installing a fresh Windows when switching major components like GPU and CPU.
