Laptop lagging

My laptop spec is i5 gen 8 with mx 130. I think thats still good for gaming like cod 2, gta, genshin. but i don't know why my laptop can't even run san andreas at 60 fps. Before that i remove my batteries because it was broke and i think thats the problem was. Its work at first, and then its back to lagging again. Month ago i tried to turn on my laptop and then plug in the charger, thats work i can run every game. But the moment my batteries broke i can't turn on it before i plug in the adaptor first. I need solution

Based on your own testing, it sounds like the solution is to replace the battery with one that isn't broke / worn out. Given the age of the laptop, it may be wiser to put the money you'd spend on a battery towards a newer laptop, but that's your call.
