Can someone help me with my recent build, everything is fine but my internet has started to lag a lot. I play cs2 and my loss jumps anywhere from 0% to 40% and makes the game unplayble, also in Youtube for example sometimes I need to reload the page to watch some videos. I'm not sure if I downloaded the right drivers and BIOS-setup or what I even need to do because it's my first build ever. Also I have ethernet connection without any routers or devices between and it worked well in my last pc. (I finished the build maybe 10 days ago)

Sorry for any grammar mistakes english is my 2nd language :)

Here are my parts and some info:

Motherboard:   Gigabyte b650 eagle ax

                          BIOS: f31

GPU:                 Ryzen rx 7800 xt

CPU:                 AMD Ryzen 7950X3D

RAM:                   Corsair Vengance DDR5-6000 32GB

Power Supply    Asus TUF 850W

Please leave a comment and help me figure this thing out!

and also feel free to ask me any questions I will answer as fast as I can!!

You should get a router.

It filters any unnecessary junk traffic and acts as another firewall. Instead of your pc with whatever software firewall you have doing that job it's way better to let a good router do it instead.

That is patently misrepresenting what a router is. It is unlikely to help in this scenario.

Did you download and install the drivers from;

B650 EAGLE AX Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

In particular, you want to ensure BIOS and Realtek LAN driver are up to date.

Have you considered contacting your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? They can run a diag on your line and ensure throughput is fine and no errors present.

Could even be something so simple as a degraded ethernet cable

You can check to see the current driver patch level for your bits on Device Manager..

1. Open Device Manager

2. Select the devices you wish to get details on

3. Right click driver name and hit properties

4. In 'Driver' tab, look for the Driver Version

Just get those version details for your LAN adapter and check them against the results of a net search for latest patch level

I am not too sure what else to check, sorry
