Hello peoples, hope you are doing fine, what was my surprise this morning when i started up my computer and open chrome juste to see this message ''This extension is no longer supported. Chrome recommends that you remove it.'' what i read was ''Mozilla recommends you to install it''

Only for a little while longer. Microsoft will also depricste manifest v2 soon, and with that uBlock origin will disappear. 

 

If you want to keep using a Chromium based browser with adblocking your alternatives are:

1) Use a browser like Brave which has its built in adblocker (not based on extensions). 

2) Switch to an adblocker that is compliant with manifest v3 such as Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin Lite. 

 

Or switch to Firefox of course.
