I am building a PC for a friend and when I finished building the CPU fan turned on and the GPU fan spun but nothing posted to the monitor. I've tried changing the Ram and GPU and it hasn't worked.

May sound silly but been there done that , is ur monitor plugged into graphics card not motherboard ??

   @Whiro tag or quote will do the trick

Just some things to try / check:

1. Is the monitor cable in the gpu and not the motherboard?

2. Did you wait long enough? (Memory training for 1st completed post can take up to several minutes, which if waiting for a post/bios screen can feel like eternity)

@WhiroYes I do have it in my GPU, @BartholomewI only waited about 30 seconds because that was all it needed for my last PC, I'll try that thanks. @Blasty Blosty I don't know, it's just the default bios that comes with the MoBo, all the hardware is quite old so I thought it would be fine.

The 5600 came out after this board was released, and the 5000 series may need a BIOS update to be recognised by the motherboard. Do you have a 2000/3000 series CPU to test?

Edit: Do this after seeing if waiting works of course

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");
