Hi,

i have just put together a build inspired by a recent video on LTT youtube channel, not all parts available in my country so i had to compromise and i landed on this build.

next i put it through a PcPartPicker to get a general idea if my parts were compatible, it came back with one of the notes i am concerned with:

Note: The video card PCIe 16-pin power connector adapter is being supplied by three 6+2-pin power connectors. Please ensure that the three 6+2-pin power connectors are not daisy-chained and do not share the same power cable.

I`ve looked on the gigabyte`s site and cant tell what I`m looking for...

any tips are helpful, thanks in advance

Because the PSU does not provide native support for the 12+4 pin connector used by the GPU one has to use an adapter cable (supplied with the GPU). The PcPartPicker note is a simple reminder about connecting the adapter to the PSU.

The build does not need a 1000W PSU. An 850W unit is more than enough. If you get an ATX 3.x compliant model like one of the following the message will not appear as the PSU has native support for the GPU connector.
