Mic issue

I'm willing to bet nobody here can help. I've tried. So the vive pro is a vr headset, has a microphone. My microphone is not microphoning. Its a software issue and i can confirm this 10000% doesnt happen normally, when i boot up steamvr, it happenes. My mic just sounds like ive inhaled gallons of helium, took 20 percs and am 9. Its horrible. Every online forum says to disable/uninstall some nvidia crap, i have an amd gpu, i dont have nvidia or anything. This is most defiantly an issue that will need to be solved in a vc (dw i have a normal working microphone) This issue has happened to me before, my fix was to tape a microphone to the bottom of the headset, now there is a face tracker there so i cant do that. The only other fix i found was to completely factory rest my computer, i obviously cant keep doing this every time this stupid issue pops up, so i need a fix. i will be honestly extremly suprised if youre able to help me and get my mic working, ive spent too many hours trying to fix it myself.
