Hello,

I am in the market for a new keyboard. My current go to is a Logitech membrane keyboard from Walmart that I’ve sworn by for the better part of 10 years with zero issues.

the wireless connection on it is finally starting to go and I’m looking at new keyboards.  I’ve had a normal mechanical keyboard before that I’ve tried and hated the big key caps.

fast forward to a trip to Best Buy I made this week.  I found a Logitech G815 wired mechanical keyboard with low profile, clicky keycaps.  I LOVED the feel of this but I can’t use wired keyboards with my setup.

is there a wireless equivalent?  I don’t want to buy a keyboard without trying it out and I THINK the G915 is the same one but I’m not sure and they don’t have a display for me to try.

thoughts?

I have a G915 and it looks identical to the G815 except for 2 more buttons regarding wireless connection.

The battery life on the G915 is impressive to me.

I run with low brightness RGB and it lasts for 10-12 days.

If you have tried the G815 with click keycaps and you liked it then the G915 with clicky keycaps is a safe buy, its the same keyboard just wireless.

Do you have any issues with the range on the wireless for the G915?  I have my computer next to my TV and want to be able to use it on the couch.   I had some range issues with my Razer Naga but I dont with my G502.  Can't find the specs online for range.

No, not at all.  I move my keyboard around and I kick back in a comfy chair from time to time 🙂

I went wireless so I can move to my simrig etc.

It uses the same type of lightspeed connection like the G502 Lightspeed so I dont think it will be an issue at all.

Edit: I just moved 9-10 meters from my G915 dongle and it worked like a charm 🙂
