is this the only way we can fix the prolem, i mean i have dell 5570 and it only takes usb c type and i dont have the adapter to plug in the usb flash drive to the adapter and then plug it in to the laptop

I mean, you could get one for cheap. If you have already formatted the C drive, there is basically nothing left of you old windows. If you had a microsoft account, you can just login after reinstalling windows and it should revert back to the settings you had previously.

Hey everyone, I got problem with Dell laptop. I was fix an issue and in an accident change the configuration to diagnostic startup, and then i click restart after that the the laptop won't even let me to login, I was searching around to see any solution and after 8hr of work it didn't fix the issue, I mean I tried to contact Microsoft to find any solution for me, all they said is to reinstall windows, and I don't want to do that, I have found some solutions on Google, that to go to cmd from recovery mode and then go to load hive to run or to activate Utliman.exe, for me I couldn't find that because I was searching in the X: drive, so I tried to open C: drive but it won't let me to open it. After all of that I tried to format the C drive, so after the format I tried to restart the laptop, after the restart, this screen popped up and when I click advanced option and then to cmd to type C:dir it tells me that file not found

Please can anyone help me I have been working working on for almost 12 hrs

Oh you poor soul, if you wanted to keep data you shouldn't format disks.

(Formatting erases all data on disk)

Since you already in this mess...

Just reinstall windows.

I'm jank tinkerer if it works then it works.

Regardless of compatibility 🐧🖖

If you formatted the C drive all you can do now is reinstall Windows. You'll need an installer usb.
