Remote access software reccomendations

Anyone got remote access software recommendations? Looking for something for personal use / family access.

 

Im a big fan of splashtop but dont want to pay the monthly fee.

Teamviewer is being a pain in my rear with it wanting me to buy it.

Im trying AnyDesk right now but so far im not impressed.

 

Looking for something either free or I can buy once.

 

Thoughts?
