Screen is flashing while loading games

Whenever I try loading X-Plane 11, it just flickers uncontrollably (videos attached).

I was running my RAM at DDR5-5600 CL36 but due to several crashes and memtest86 errors I've reduced it to 5200 which seems to help, but these issues are still occurring!
