2 Screen Setup Sense question

  1. 1. What to do best?

    • Connect both Screens to the Nvida Card
      3
    • Connect the gaming monitor to the Nvidia Card and the non gaming screen to the internal Ryzen GPU
      2

I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an Nvidia 4080 Super, and Two screens, a 34" Curved 144hz Samsung and a 27 HPZ which runs in portrait mode its used for Websites, Emails, YouTube while gaming, etc

Edit:

Asking more out of interest, both solutions work of course but I remember Linus once explaining that a second Monitor eats a bit of FPS

Running a second monitor off the same GPU as your games uses a negligible amount of FPS when you've got a mid to high end GPU in my experience, so I'd just run both monitors off your dedicated RTX 4080 GPU. That said, you're more than welcome to test both scenarios, running benchmarks to determine which provides the optimal performance for your particular hardware configuration.
