@PDifolco when playing cyberpunk my 3dcores were all at 4.9ghz and my vid was around 1.069v, in desktop its always around 1.100v so im guessing cuz its using all the cores compared to games where it only focuses on 3dcores so thats why vid drops, but its never as low as 0.5v like coretemp reported

Ok so the chip is working normally but coretemp is bugged, maybe not compatible ! Cool 🙂

I noticed that ive never seen my 7950x3d hit 5.7ghz, even when prefer cache is disabled, on task manager the usual i see is around 4.9-5.3ghz, sometimes it drop to 4.6 but its usually in the mentioned range, in gaming my 3dvcache cores are always around 4.8-4.9 and the other cores are parked due to game mode, i have pbo enabled and i have no oc, are these clock speeds correct?

currently on desktop, nothing really running except discord, some cores did reach 5.5ghz, just to be clear im not experiencing any issues the cpu is fast, i just wanted to make sure nothing is wrong

Cores boost when needed not on desktop doing light stuff

Yet your VID is really low at 0.5V, and the FCLK at x33 or x36 are weird, are you on stock BIOS config ?

Did you install the AMD chipset drivers (esp. the 3D drivers) ?

Use HWInfo64, run some benchmarks or games and check max clocks

Windows ask CPU to do XYZ

CPU boosts to do it ASAP

CPU done

Windows happy

CPU happy

im on stock settings only pbo enabled and i did install the amd chipset drivers, and already ran game benchmarks however ill try using hwinfo instead of coretemp to see my max clock and tell you

this is during a black myth wukong benchmark, all 3dcores were at 4.95-5ghz and my vid was at around 1.07-1.
