Would you please try with the audio jack/bluetooth on the mobo? Perhaps it's the dongle's problem.

thank you for your help but it seems that the issue has magicly resolved. Have you tried turning it off and on haha. i have been listening.

Thanks again.

and sorry for wasting your time

I just finished my new pc build.

The issue is that my audio gets interupted (mainly) when my pc is under load.

it seams to me that the audio which should have been played during the interruption is Squished together and gets played really fast when the interruption is over.

They last for about 1-2 sec and get more frequent when I am playing games or am downloading.

I am using a Wireless headset with an USB dongle

OS: Win 11 Pro

Edit: just noticed that video playback is affected too...

Edit 2: when listening to spotify the progressbar doesnt stop but the song continues to play where it stoped, so the progress bar reaches the end before the song is over. it just sits there at the end.

What are your temps for your CPU at idle and under load? Thermal throttling can cause these kinds of issues.

I think it's because your pc is seriously cpu capped, it seems that the system has not engough computing power to spare.

You can try this:

Open task manager, open the tab "Details", choose the program causing the load, use the 6th option from the top, uncheck atleast 1 processor to leave a minimum of 1 thread empty for your music player.

i seriously doubt that this is the issue, bc I upgraded from an i5 4570 to a ryzen 9 7900x and I even have less Apps installed & running now that I freshly installed windows. and my temps are in the 50 to 70 C range.
