I have a 2 year old S22 that randomly crashes, sometimes ones a day but other times it is unusable. It has naver been in any water, so it should not be due to water damage. I have tried factory reseting it and even flashing new software onto it using odin but nothing worked. Therefore I suspect it is a hardware issue. What part could it be that is faulty and is there any hope in restoring it?

Try booting into your phone in safe mode. If you don't know how to do that, just search it up. In doing so, it will turn off other 3rd party apps and may help determine if the issue is from an external source. Let us know what happens, and I hope this helps!

Make sure to mark solutions, as it helps us find people who need help faster. Thanks!

I am human and am therefore prone to error, so I apologize if I make mistakes and I hope you understand.

Have a Nice Day!

First confirm if it's actually randomly crashing or there's a pattern. My S23+ crashes but I've figured out why and now is not random as I thought it was at first.

If interested, my S23+ crashes when using wireless android auto, I have navigation on and the guilty app to blame is playing radio music but the internet connection drops, instead of hanging up or just stopping the music, it crashes the phone. Problem is some connection bug in the app not the phone itself.

It usually crashes when I try and do something, like booting up an app or unlocking the phone, if I am on the lock screen it will not crash

What happened before it started doing this? Dropped it? Overheated? We gotta derive.

but to my knowledge it has not been dropped

Did you just get the phone? You're not the first to use it from new?
