My friend accidentally turned off his computer in the middle of a game and now it won’t boot properly, the monitor won’t connect but the computer spins to life and the aio screen turns on. We have tried a different monitor, different cable, and manually switching from hdmi to display. What should we do?

pc specs:

arc a770

ryzen 7800x3d

16gb ram

600w psu

1tb crucial nvme drive

i dont remember the mobo

When you start the computer, do you see the Motherboard Manufacturer's Splash Screen Logo? or is the screen black?

If you see a logo, press the Del key repeatedly to enter Setup (Bios) unless it is an HP, then it would be F10.

If the screen is black, try removing the GPU and using the onboard HDMI integrated graphics.

There is no splash screen, and the mobo port is messed up so he cannot plug it into the mobo. I will have him try unplugging the gpu an re plugging it in
