i swapped to a corsair aio cooler and the temps are alot better but 1 problem is that i have 2 fan controllers on my pc. but they are only cheap ones so they dont plug into the mb usb slot they plug into a 4pin slot on the mb.

of course i have the cpu plugged into the cpu slot on the mb but where shall i plug the 2 controllers which control the fans into.

at the minute i have 1 plugged into the aio pump slot on the motherboard and the other one is plugged into chass fan 1?

but the fans are quite loud now but the temps are good so should i not worry about this.

i have cheap corsair fans and a rubbish controller so i think that might be why

You can control the fan speeds quite easily using either the BIOS or a number of apps, these fan hubs, im assuming, are just sending the signal of the port you plug them into, to all fans connected. So set that port to run at whatever percentage or curve you like and all fans connected should follow

I reckon theres no need to spend more money to control them

that pin slot on the MB is specifically for fans and it can control the fans through both features since it's 4pin unless the controller only works with one of the 2 controlling options
