I run a research lab at UMD and got a 96 core Ubuntu server workstation. I need to install one specific statistical program (Rstudio server) that allows me to connect and run jobs remotely. I’m having trouble with that - so far with my zilch Linux skills I’ve only disabled the OS gui.

I’d like to hire someone in the dc area to stop by and help me out (likely 1-2hrs tops)… who/where should I search for?

(my school doesn’t do Linux support)

thank you for any ideas and apologies for this likely being off topic

Reach out to Wendell at Levelonetechs. He has the skills to help you remotely. (I think they're located in KY or thereabouts?) He did the recovery of the LMG Vault server a few years ago 😉
