Budget (including currency): 1500€ at most

Country: germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: baldurs gate 3, overwatch 2, dead by daylight, final fantasy 7 remastered and 12. also some light video editing but nothing on a professional level

Other details: i am upgrading from an almost 8 year old pc that is giving up on me.

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/fsjGmD

i have this list of parts saved but i don't know enough about pcs to just buy this without getting second opinion lol. i also am using an ancient tv as a monitor atm but plan to upgrade to 2 monitors at some point (if anyone has recommendations do tell. i take anything that isn't a probably 10 year old tv tbh)

I would build a new AM5 machine, as AM4 is deadish and should only be upgraded if you're already on it.

Something like this...  someone can recommend decent monitors, maybe a nice 1440p Ultrawide as the 7900 GRE will push it just fine...  16GB VRAM is nice as well.

Windows can be used FREE, unactivated.  Or get a cheap Ebay key.  But there isn't a downside to unactivated, mine is that way for years now.

I'd change that rtx 4070 to some other Amd gpu like a rx 7800xt

better performance for ur money that is ofcourse if u dont care about RAY TRACING

Yeah, the 7800xt is better in almost every aspect and is cheaper. Unless he prefers nvidia and wants raytracing.
