Graphics driver keeps disabling?

Sorry for the long post gona kinda explain my whole process that’s been over a few months
So I’m working thru this issue for my old pc I sold to my friends son

the system specs are R5 3600 and a RX 5700xt 

we had a monitor die a few months ago and when it died it put out graphics driver disabled error I updated and reinstalled adrenaline during this time as well

i tested the monitor by using a different cable type in a different port no dice there. It was a old monitor from a business liquidation so we figured it was just done for

so they ordered a new set of scepter monitors(I’ve used similar sets and have the same set for my second computer at home so good set of monitors)

today the monitors would display I guess and then they said the got them working but it said display adapters disabled again

They re-enabled the drivers and it reportedly working but I’m scratching my head on what’s going on
