Those Vapor-Xs.... hmmmmm

They were good, but I sent them back. Everyone was saying Watch_Dogs needed to run on nVidia, that nVidia had Gameworks implemented to punish AMD GPUs. So, I ordered the Tis.

How was the overclock ? I'm having some issues with my MSI gamings

I only had the first Vapor-X for 37 days. It didn't like mem OC at all. It would scramble pink lines all over then crash the driver. The core did OC, but I forgot what I got it to. I had the 2nd Vapor-X for about a week. In crossfire I ran them at stock for temps.

 

The first card had leaking paste coming out around the backplate so something was def wrong with it.

I would've preferred to keep 2 4GB cards but nothing out there runs as cool as nVdia ref coolers. The Titan Black never crossed my mind at the time of choosing replacements. Hopefully net year we see some better cards and I'll trade or sell my Tis. On the plus side, I got to keep both Never Settle promos. With the Tis though, Amazon only sent me one Watch_Dogs code...but I honestly didn't care about the 2nd one. I had already bought the game plus ubisoft gave me a free deluxe version for all the problems I was having day one.

I chose 290s and don't see myself switching to TIs for that small performance increase VS big price difference.

Went with reference in case of custom cooling.
