Time for a Refresh

So after 3 years and a few dead 7950s I've decided the time to upgrade my computer has arrived.

I’ve decided to transplant some of my old components into this new rig rather than dispose of perfectly good parts.

 

My current specs:

 

Processor: Intel 2500K @ 4.8GhZ

Cooler: Corsair H80

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H

Memory: 8GB DDR3

SSD:  60GB Intel 330 SSD

          120GB Crucial M4 SSD

HDD: 2 x 1TB Seagate HDDS

GPU: Sapphire 7950 (replaced 3 months ago, already dead!)

PSU: 725W CoolerMaster

Case: NZXT Phantom

 

I’ve purchased the following components:

 

EVGA 780 SC

Backplate for 780

Corsair RM750

2 x Samsung 840 EVO 120gb

NZXT H440 Case

 

So, with the new parts my new rig will be as follows:

I’m all ready except for the case - the delayed shipment is now scheduled to arrive in the next couple of days. I’ll be building this rig as soon as the case turns up.

Thanks! The special edition blue and black H440 and nah, 1 SSD for the OS and the other for games. I've had enough issues dealing with RAID.
