Hey guys I am new to DIY keyboards and i am wodering what keyboard to start off with. I have been looking online and I have seen that the M1W V3 is good but takes ages to arrive so I would be left without a keyboard for 2 weeks, do you guys have any suggestions for a keyboard that i could find on amazon?

Most people in the hobby don't really start off with a barebones keyboard. It's overwhelming facing unlimited options.

Find a keyboard you like, and then buy different switches, filler materials, lubes, etc. as you get more familiar with it.

Keychron sells like every form factor under the sun. They keycaps are not good though - unless you pay the extra to get a "Max" variant.

NuPhy is my favorite pre-built maker. I particularly love the Halo-series (I have the Halo75).

Amazon sells a bunch of boards: Royal Kludge, Womier, XVX, Epomaker, etc.

You can also find most switches on there as well. My favourite right now is the linear switch : Akko V3 Creamy Yellow

Keychron C3 is a particularly good choice. Very cheap keyboard, QMK/VIA so it lets you map every key to something else and make macros.

The non-RGB versions are NOT hot-swappable, so I do not recommend getting them.

Epomaker has a pretty bad reputation in the keyboard community for bad quality control and failing boards. They're a good price, but it seems like playing the lottery with them when it comes to having a board last longer than a few months.
