Asus B650-E ram compatibility?

Hey all, I bought the microcenter 7800x3d bundle and it came with the asus tuf b650-e wifi mobo. There's not a ton of info out there about this board and I wanted to get 32GB 6400 z5 royal ram for my build. Is there anything I'm missing? Gskill doesn't even show this board on there site, but asus has some other gskill ram that is on there QVL list. Any help is appreciated.

That bundle should also come with a memory kit, is there any reason you're not just using that?

I mean, it will boot (these kits have the same PCB and memory ICs as the other Trident kits that will be on the QVL), but the XMP profile might not work. 6400MT/s is in the weird no-mans-land of memory speeds for Ryzen 7000, where it doesn't reliably work in 1:1 mode (only about half of CPUs support 6400 in 1:1 mode in my experience) and in 2:1 mode (what it will default to) you're losing a ton of performance compared to if you just ran 6000 CL30 or 32 in 1:1 mode. Unless you really like tweaking your memory settings (if you were though, you probably wouldn't be asking about this), getting anything other than a 6000 CL30/32 kit does not make sense for a Ryzen 7000 series chip like yours. Drop the speed to 6000 CL30 instead.

Use the RAM that comes with that kit, it's great for it.   6000 CL30 or 32 is perfect for AM5.  If you prefer the z5 Royal, make sure it's 6000 CL30/32 then.

Yeah the ram that comes with it is fine but the z5 royal is much more aesthetically pleasing to my build I'm working on. Will probably sell that ram online, Not sure yet.
