is this normal?

so i noticed something on my 2015 macbook pro 15inch

when im running something intensive and i plug it in to the charger it says battery not charging for sometimes up to 2 minutes before saying its charging 

the led on the charger is orange even know the os says the battery is not charging when i switch to something less intensive the time goes down if im just doing like youtube or normal stuff on it, it takes rougly about 5-10 seconds 
not sure why it does this. looking for a  answer somewhat cause im not too sure why its doing it

Pretty weird, to be honest. I believe my own 2015 MacBook Pro 13" had this too at a similar time as yours when not burning up. Its display is fucked, unfortunately, so it's difficult to reconfirm.
