Need help choosing GPU

Hi there, I'm new here and wanted to check if anyone may have advice on what low-factor GPU would work for a not-very-new small-factor Dell Optiplex 7010. Budget is not big. The current specs of the pc are:

• CPU: i5-3570
• RAM: 16 GB
• Motherboard: Dell 0YXT71

What is your budget? Because upgrading a pc with this CPU doesn't make much sense, unless you only want to play old games

I would say you would need to get a GPU that does not require external power from a power supply.

Like the GTX 1050 or some models of the GTX 1050Ti does not require external power and draw everything from the motherboard

I'm thinking around 100-200, including the potential to upgrade the CPU, but not sure what this motherboard accepts? May need to upgrade the power too.

Agree with Hinjima, I have a 1050ti and it still plays some games just fine on 1080p low, but that's with an i7 8700, with your CPU you can probably get 60 FPS. Spending on anything more than the GPU would be a waste, since the system is just so old

Just get a 75w GPU that does not require external power.

The motherboard should be able to handle an i7-3770 that will boost gaming performance over the i5.

Both should GPU and CPU should be able to get used fairly cheap.

We have recommended a 75w GPU without external power hundreds of times for low powered optiplex systems.

Its a great way to start playing some light titles

same CPU with a 1050Ti,  Runs GTA 5 quite comfortable.

He has it locked to 60fps.

Just to add to what the guys have allready said , it's a fine system for older or more lightweight titles.

 

What country are you in so we can have a look at what cards would make sense?
