Gpu not getting detected

Basically what happened was that my motherboard's CPU pins were bent. The shop fixed the pins and now everything works.

Hello, guys. I have recently got a Rx 5600 xt. I used to use a Rx 560 and an Intel i5 9500. 16GB DDR 4. And have a 550 psu. Today, I finally got everything ready. Plugged in everything properly. The new gpu works too I have used it on my friends system to check it. But when I plug the GPU in my PC, it doesn't even detect anything. No display out. Idk what is happening or why this is happening as I should be able to run everything smoothly. Can anyone help me with this issue?

If it doesn't get detected, it can mean a few things. Firstly, have you tried resocketing it? It might just be a bad connection. Also, is your old GPU detected by your PC?

Don't tell me to upgrade. I would've done so if I could.

The old one does get detected. And I have plugged it out and back in again. Nothing seems to work.

You mentioned the new GPU works. How come you know?

Weird. Have you tried intentionally getting an error by not connecting the external PCIe power pins?

Not really but I kind of suspect it's something to do with the drivers. I can still get a display out while connection to the motherboard when my gpu is plugged in. I will take it to a shop tmrw( it's mid night rn). Let's see if they can figure something out. My internet adapter is broken. Can't check anything rn either.
