When pushing the power button on the case (or shorting the power pins on the motherboard) nothing happens (the debug lights also do not turn on).

What I tried:

1. I checked the PSU with a multimeter and the PSU is fine.

2. Tried booting with only 1 RAM stick

3. Clearing the RTC RAM

The parts are:

  • ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI

  • Corsair DDR5 VENGEANCE 2x16 GB (CMK32GX5M2B6000Z30)

  • Corsair RM850x PSU

  • AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

  • Lexar NM790 2TB M.2 SSD

  • Corsair H150 RGB AIO cooler

  • Fractal Design North

I would say, the CPU power cable looks strange. Cuz most are usually split able by 2x 4pins, your looks like 8 pin connector. But if it's says CPU on it then that's the right cable.

Once in a while, even the legend forgot to turn on switch power on PSU 😅

Also check pins on the socket under CPU, maybe some are bent and making short circuits.

Mobo can be dead, if you bought used, or CPU ect.

Try to run without CPU when you will check pins.

Try clearing CMOS if you haven't already. Just pop out the coin cell battery and wait a couple minutes. Replacing it is lightly recommended, but not necessarily urgent. Also, did you check you are getting power from the wall, and that the PSU is switched on?

Don't tell me to upgrade. I would've done so if I could.
