Computer randomly turning off while gaming
8 minutes ago, Kenjionigod said:I've been having this issue with my main computer where my computer is turning off randomly, but only while gaming. I've checked the error logs to try to get some more information, but there's really nothing to go off of unfortunately. Temperatures are totally normal, GPU sits in the low 80s and CPU sits around 60ish. I was also also able to run a Prime95 and Furmark stress at the same time for about 2 hours with no crash. This mainly seems to happen when I'm playing BG3; I played the Sims 4 for hours without a crash, but it's normally within 30 minutes or less that it will just randomly turn of with no warning or BSOD.
Some steps that I have already taken; clean install of Windows, removed sleeved cable extentions, reseated RAM, swapped out RAM, removed GPU Riser card, swapped out the power supply, and swapped out the motherboard. I'm still having issues where it will just randomly turn off, and I don't really know what else to try at this point.

Try using MSI Afterburner to lower GPU TDP% to 80% (default is 100%), that would eliminate the potential for power spiking from the GPU tripping OCP. 850W should be enough, but both RX 6000 and RTX 3000 series high end GPUs were known for requiring an overspecced PSU.
