AM5 memory training

I have just bought a brand new AMD CPU, motherboard and ram. I was just wondering how long it usually takes to train brand new ram for am5

 

its 32gb at 6000mhz. I’ve been sitting waiting for something to happen for about 15+ minutes

Something should have happened before 15 minutes.

Usually around 4-7 minutes on very early BIOS revisions.

Try one stick of RAM.
Are you able to update the BIOS on the motherboard without turning it on? ( BIOS Flashback button )

I do have a flashback button…. I can try to pull out a stick and see if something happens. 
 

How long should it take before I get into something?

Depends on the BIOS revision on the motherboard.  I would say between 30 seconds to 6 minutes.

Ok I’ll wait a bit. I pulled a stick out and see what happens.

I pulled out a ram stick and now it’s stuck on a green boot LED

I had to plug my monitor into my motherboard. For some reason it won’t recognize my gpu (4070 super)

Well I’m running a bios update. Let’s see if that fixes it

I do remember a BIOS revision on my own ASUS TUF B650 said that it improved RTX 4000 support / compatability.

I got it working!!!! After a bios update it works fine now. Thanks for your help

Ehey! Look at that   perfect!

 

Remember to install all the drivers from your motherboards website and the new AMD Chipset drivers that can be found there as well.
