Sometimes when i play LOL the frames just dip and go up dip and go up and the screen hangs especially during team fight . Is it because of my monitor ? i have a GTX 760 it is impossible that the graphic card cant support maximum settings for a game like LOL . I have the graphic settings set to the highest anti aliasing on and frame rate uncapped i normally have about 150 to 200 frames . so what is the problem there ? is it my monitor ? Btw my monitor is a dell S2330MX monitor .

Screen hanging is a gpu problem. Or RAM, I used to have hanging problems with RAM, but frames didn't dip.

This could be it.

Also, I've heard VSync can also cause this. Turn it off and test it and see if this fixes is. Though, usually, in most games this is just going to relieve screen tearing, not so much hanging. (if it's a setting in LOL, I don't play it) and see if it fixes it.

As ZetZet said, this is usually a hardware issue. (GPU in particular)

The thing with Vsync is that he wouldn't have 150 fps in the first place.  :)

Oh, didn't see that part..

Sorry dude! Ignore that part then. But still go through and check the settings. There's a small chance this could be a software setting, instead of just hardware. Though, unlikely.

I have V sync Off hmm i do overclock my GPU but when I reset it to default settings the same problems is still there , I have 8 Gb of 1333 ram i dont think thats the problem because i have totally no issues playing BF4 on ultra getting 50 to 60 frames and the frames didnt dip . But the hang in LOL is just like 1 to 2 seconds then when it hangs i see the FPS being at 2 to 30 FPS
