Hello, I bought a MSI RTX 4080 SUPER and an intel i7-14700k, I used to have it overclocked and it was running smoothly at msi's default 5.6GHz boost (Using the MSI MPG Z790 Carbon WiFi) and overclocked RAM DDR5 64 GB (2x32) (it was overclocked too) but sometimes games would crash and the GPU was going up to 100%. I have already set everything at deafault speeds and now nothing crashes but I'm having really bad performance spikes and I'm wondering because I saw a post that you should set the PCIe to gen 4 not auto and I tried that and my PC wouldn't boot, had to reset the bios, also I have a gen 5 ssd on top and a gen 4 ssd for extra storage, is that using all the lanes or something? I just updated the bios to literally today's date.

Do you know about Intel's voltage problems and degradation, permanent damage to the 13th and 14th gen cpus?

I bought it really late 2023 I think I assembled it in 2024.

Intel 13 and 14 gens are burning out, even at stock settings.
