So right now I have 3 120mm fans in the case 2 being in front as intake and one at the back for exhaust, I'm planning to add 2 140mm fans and replace the intake fans in front and move the 2 10mm fans to exhaust air at the top. Is this a good configuration?

My case is Tecware Nexus Air M2, so I think it has got a pretty good airflow. Is negative airflow bad and will it affect anything? I don't mind the dust as I will regularly clean the PC.

My PC spec is:

I5 12400
Zotaz RTX3070 Twin Edge
16Gb 3600Mts DDR4 RAM
MSI Pro B760M - A Wifi

ID Cooling SE 914 XT V2 ARGB

Yes, as 2x 140mm fans are roughly the same area as 3x 120mm ones.

Solid fan setup.

Just make sure the 2x 120's on top are as far back as possible and the 140's as low as reasonably possible, to provide the best wind tunnel effect.

Thanks that's great to know. Wind tunnel meaning the air that gets sucked in front does not immediately exhausted is it?

Yes, as cases are best with low front to upper rear air flow.  Unless you can get some fans under the case, of course.

Getting cool air in, and hot air out like a hair dryer.

The fan upgrade sounds good. If you're willing to keep your PC dust-free, then it doesn't matter if it's positive or negative pressure air flow. I have yet to see, hear or experience a compelling argument to the contrary. Us volunteers recommend positive because it's easier to care for the PC (in general).

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
