Spotify Woes

I have a Spotify Premium subscription, but it refuses to download songs on my CMF Phone 1.

You're out of offline devices

 

Free up a spot in Settings by disabling offline listening or removing all downloads from another device.

I get this prompt when I try to download any song or playlist.. But other devices on the same account have no problem downloading songs..

 

Another issue which has been persistent across all devices, showing incorrect password when the password is correct. I have no idea what is happening. Because of this, I can't uninstall Spotify from my phone. 

 

Any help will be appreciated.

It says what you need, there's a limit of devices you can turn on offline listening on and you've reached that, so disable on others you don't use.

No other device has downloads. I deleted everything from my other devices, but still doesn't let me download!! Whereas, other devices have no problem downloading songs and playlists!!

Update : reinstalled Spotify on my phone, changed the password so logging in isn't an issue now. still refuses to download songs, even when no devices have downloads!! is it due to the fact that i'm using a really new phone?? or am i missing something here??

If you search for the error message you'll find the solution is to contact spotify support.

okay, for some reason, it seems to have fixed the download issue by itself!! spotify and it's mood swings!
