system is a intel i7 3770k, msi z77ma-g45, 16gb ddr3, corsair vs450, sandisk 256gb ssd

 

had some electrical issues yesterday and my pc switched off, when the power was back on i tried logging it but it just froze, i tried plugging in my spare psu (AD-Z450001) and i managed to get into bios but it wouldnt allow me to log into windows, it would say it needs to repair but it would just freeze, tried everything but i just cant get it to work

 

any tips on what i can do?

First thing you should consider : are there any valuable files on that drive that were not backed up ? It may be time to plug your drive into another computer (internally or via a usb adapter) to retrieve those files first.

As for repairing your Windows, if the default utility does not work, you may have more luck with an USB installation media (and choose to keep your files). If nothing works, it may be time to wipe out the drive and reinstall Windows from scratch.
