Improper bios

Hey, so I'm using a proart b760 mobo, I tried updating my bios I went to the website downloaded the 2402 version, didn't work, then tried the 2301 version also didn't work, now idk what to do any advice would be greatly appreciated p.s. I'm using a separate cpu and usb to get the files

First thing I'd make sure is that you're getting the right board. There's two different version of the B760 ProArt (DDR4 and DDR5), and the BIOSes are not intercompatible. 

 

Also are you trying to use BIOS Flashback? It's also possible that the flash drive isn't formatted properly and that's why it's not working.

Yeah I'm looked up the ddr5 on there website then went from there . No im not trying use bios flashback just get the latest version of bios and I'm pretty sure it's a 2.0 it has 4 pins

Figured it out , I wasn't downloading the right motherboard bios I have a wifi board and was downloading the non wifi bios lol
