Keyboard help! PLZ!

yesterday i picked up a roccat ISKU. I cant say its my favorite thing in the world. Im not sure if its the style or just the keyboard. The keys seem to small and spaced way to close together. Its very frustrating to use. Nor do they feel the best on my fingers. i originally went from a Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000 keyboard . Are all gaming keyboards layed out so closely together and small keys or it just certain ones? if it is gaming boards that are like this maybe i need an Ergonomic design. I do game but not to the extreme. Typing comfort is more important. im also looking for keeyboard that doesnt sound i shoved a package of bubble wrap in garbage disposal . with nice soft keys.I like having basic quick buttons on the keyboard like pause rewind , homepage  mute volume up and down. OH AND CACULATOR i use that alot lol. The backlighting is a plus but not needed


this microsoft is worn to hell and needs to be replaced thoughts on something alittle nicer?

Well, it depends on keyboards style. As I see the Isku hasn't the tightest fitted keys I've seen. It also depends how tall keys are. Taller keys means more space between them. I like semi-low profile myself (low being http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31Y9J52i3ML.jpg and high being general IBM/Dell and most mechs). From just pics I'd say Microsoft keyboard is more tight fitted than Roccat.

 

But you don't need gaming grade keyboard to game. My brother have ergonomic keyboard and he plays CSGO and occasional Dota2. Gaming keyboards have some extra features in comparison to media keyboards, nothing much more.
